School is just out for summer but already we’re starting to think about September, especially as we’re relocating and my two will be starting new schools.
Shoes are one of the most important elements for me as the children wear their shoes for a big chunk of the week so they have to be comfortable but sturdy enough for lots of outdoor play, especially with my tomboy daughter.
We were sent the Walkright Bow Leather School Shoes, which are great value at just £12.99.
The bow and stitching detailing add a subtle feminine touch for Molly and they work with skirts or trousers. The coated leather is soft and flexible and the insoles are padded, adding extra comfort. There is also velvet trim by the ankles, preventing rubbing. I liked the scuff resistant rubber at the front, as Molly plays a lot of football. The velcro strap is useful and helps speed up getting changed for PE as she’s such a slowcoach!
We’ve been through many school shoes as the children grow quickly and I can honestly say that Shoe Zone shoes have lasted as long as shoes that cost 3x more.
