Women’s black brogue shoes review

Kizzy has returned to school and is going into year 6 of Juniors. My little girl is really growing up fast.  Many of the school shoes we looked at on the market seem to be made with younger girls in mind. As Kizzy has strong ideas about fashion and design, she doesn’t want to wear anything that she considers babyish.  As she is now a size 3, she can choose from women’s ranges giving her more style options.

Kizzy received a pair of women’s Lace Up Brogues from Shoezone to try out. She was delighted!

The black, low heeled shoe is smart and sensible for school, yet is a real design classic. There is patterned stitching detail across the upper of the shoe. The leather look laces secure the shoe comfortably and securely. The inside has a pretty floral textile lining.

The shoes are made from synthetic material but look and feel like leather. They cost £14.99 in women’s sizes 3-9. They are perfect for school or work with their smart, classic design. Kizzy looks great in her uniform finished off with her new Brogues!

I say don’t get too excited Wendy! I bought these shoes for my daughter who insisted everyone was wearing them and she wanted them for school. She too loves the style and although I wasn’t so happy about the cost I complied. Three weeks later and they have fallen apart! I mean literally fallen apart. The bottom of the one shoe is almost totally off (come unstuck) and the other shoe is following suit. I have sadly now thrown the receipt away as I honestly did not in my wildest dreams expect a pair of shoes which cost £15 to fall apart to this extent in less than a month. I wonder what the expected life of a pair of shoes of this cost is? Honestly, I cannot be expected to fork out £15 per month for shoes surely? I wonder if I am the only person who is in this situation who now has to go back to the shops and purchase another pair of school shoes for my child…. Guess what…. I will now be bypassing Shoe Zone…. and will I tell all my friends about this wonderful buy! You can bet your bottom dollar… Very, Very annoyed, out of pocket and MIFFED!
