So whatever looks you go for this season, wear them with confidence and do comment if you have any of your own style tips…
#SZLoves Look 1: Lace Up Brogues
The first style we have chosen is a lace up brogue. Brogues can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion and we absolutely love them! For work, why not add them to a simple polo neck, shift dress and thick black tights for a cool sixties inspired look that will keep you warm in the office.
For busy weekends shopping or catching up with family and friends, team them with tapered trousers and frilly ankle socks for a cool retro nineties look that screams grunge glamour. Not only do they look super smart, they are completely comfortable on your feet too! Result!
Mix things up by choosing between matte and patent effect, if you’re feeling crafty perhaps replace the laces with your very own bright laces for a unique twist, this is one style you need in your wardrobe.
#SZLoves Look 2: Quilted Lace Up Boots
Once the colder months come around it can be a bit of a headache choosing a pair of boots to add to your wardrobe as the choice out there is huge.
For those lazy weekends when you want a casual look these are the boots for you. Our black quilted lace up boots are so quirky they will add a touch of laid back cool to your outfit. Wear them with your favourite skinny jeans and an oversized cosy knit or add them to your tights and dress combo to rock a retro look. Top Tip: Ditch the black tights and choose autumnal colours instead to add a unique twist to your outfit.
Not only are they super comfy, the quilted detailing gives them an eye-catching urban feel which is perfect for those chilled weekends.
#SZLoves Look 3: Over the Knee Boots
Just because the weather is cold doesn’t mean you can’t dress up and look glamorous!
Simply swapping your usual heels for a pair of suede effect over the knee boots is a sure fire way of adding a touch of 60’s glamour to your outfit. They will go with anything you have in your wardrobe depending on what look you are going for, casual or dressy they will work well for both.
For a retro daytime look that will keep you super cosy against the elements, style them with plain black leggings, fur coat and trendy fedora hat in a rich autumnal colour. For an evening meal or drinks with friends, styling these boots with a little black dress and plain accessories such as a silver clutch bag will give you the wow factor! Alternatively go for a look that harks back to the bygone era of the cool 1970’s by teaming them with a rust coloured leather skirt and simple polo neck. To keep warm, add a camel coloured boyfriend coat and don’t forget the floppy hat too!
Overall keep things simple and let these boots do the talking!
#SZLoves Look 4: Black Tassel Loafers
During the first Autumn months the weather can be a bit unpredictable, it might still be a little too warm to be wearing boots on some days so simply updating your usual shoes with one of this season’s hottest styles could be the answer.
Loafers are a style that have stood the test of time, a super comfy shoe that feels so light on your feet it’s as if you’re wearing slippers. This suede effect pair with tassel detailing are smart enough for work yet can still be styled as a casual shoe too. Wear with cigarette pants and light pastel knit for a trendy office look, add a statement necklace to jazz it up.
If it’s an evening out you’re wearing them for then they work well with both dresses and skirts, giving you a kooky look that will stand you apart from the crowd.
#SZLoves Look 5: Camel Wedge Boot With Knitted Collar
Move away from black this season by picking out a pair of camel coloured boots, these after all are not just any old boots.
A wedge ankle boot is one of the styles to have in your wardrobe. Rock a casual look by teaming them with your favourite jeans or leggings and edgy aviator jacket. For Winter days simply add a woolly hat and scarf to keep the cold at bay. They can also be worn for a dressier look, simply pair them with a rich berry coloured skater dress, velvet choker and classic beige mac. It’s a look you can wear for work or play.
Wedges are one of the most popular heels out there, contrary to popular belief they are super comfy and easy to walk in- perfect for keeping your feet comfy!
