So tell us what your job role involves.
I’m the guy behind the Facebook page, I also write a bit of copy on the website and I’m also the guy whose job it is to upload all these blogs!
How did you get into this career?
I graduated from Uni with a degree in advertising, I’ve always enjoyed the premise of creative communication so this line of work stood out to me.
What is your favourite thing to do in your job?
I like how creative I’m allowed to be, & being responsible for something that a lot of people engage with.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to go into your career?
Take in everything you can, stay up to date with news and trends, take note of what’s out there that works well and what doesn’t.
Do you work in a team in your role, and if so, what’s that like?
I’m part of digital marketing which is a small team, and it’s good. As a small team we can trade ideas effectively.
Now, onto the serious topics: what’s your go-to pizza topping?
I’m a meat guy, chicken, bacon etc. And give me a bucket of garlic & herb dip.
What do you like to get up to outside of work?
I like to get to the gym a few times a week, I also enjoy going for walks and ticking off films from my embarrassingly long somehow-still-haven’t-seen watch list on Netflix.
What’s the last thing you watched that you really enjoyed?
Industry on BBC iPlayer, so so good.
What are you listening to on your commute to and from work?
I’m blessed to have such an incredible Spotify library that I can just hit shuffle and a guaranteed banger is going to come up.

And finally, what’s been your highlight of working at Shoe Zone so far?
The highlight for me would have to be all the cool people I’ve met.
