I love this time of year as I can wear boots! I have so many styles but I honestly think that military boots are my favourites and I think it’s a trend that will return year after year.
I’ve been wearing Lilley Women’s Black Zip Up Boots almost every day since I got them. They are SO comfy and go with everything – Skinny jeans, leggings, skirts and even under long dresses. My daughter tells me they would look great under a party frock as a rock chick look, but I think I’m a bit old for that one; that’s one trend I think I’ll leave for her!
I really like the versatility of these boots. Like I say, you can wear them with pretty much anything, but I also like that you can lace them all the way to the top or like I do, leave them undone halfway. It lets my legs ‘breathe’ and it looks great – win, win!
They’re worth every penny at £39.99, they are incredible value yet, not ‘cheap-looking’ or lacking in quality. They are very well made and even the detailing is spot on. You could be forgiven for thinking that they cost a lot more – I was even complimented on them in a very posh part of London; that made me happier than it probably should have done, but there you go!
The boots feature a ‘faux’ zip, which I usually don’t like, but as they are lace-ups, there is ample room to put them on and off without a problem.
They also have a cleated sole, which you don’t see on ‘fashion boots’ as much these days, but I love the added grip they provide as well as the style.
These are the only boots you’ll need this Winter!
