Whilst in your Paisley store today to purchase boots for myself I mentioned to the sales assistant how disappointed I was with the boots I was wearing that I had bought 3 months previously. I did not keep the receipt as I did not think I would have to return as I was really pleased with them, but after a month the heels had worn right down and after 3 months the sole was starting to come away in one of the boots. The sales assistant went to the back of the store and returned with a man who I assume was the manager. He said because I wore the boots everyday the condition of the boots would be wear and tear. I pointed out to him that I knew they were only £16.99 but I felt they should have lasted longer. The managers answer was simply "Well, you get what you pay for." Does this mean myself and others I know who frequent the store should not expect quality when buying from shoe zone?
